Making Disciples of Jesus Christ for the Transformation of the World

Faith Quest, a multipurpose 18-week Bible study, explores the scriptures and the teachings of John Wesley in a deep and meaningful way. Participants will gain a better understanding of the Word of God.Faith Quest challenges participants to envision a new kind of church that is centered in Christ and informed by the Bible.

Faith Quest participants set aside a half hour each day for personal study and reflection and participate actively in weekly group session of about two hours.

Faith Quest study groups are small -- about six to eight participants each -- to ensure that participants explore the ways they lead and live within the Christian community. Two Faith Quest study groups meet at St. John's -- on Sunday afternoon and a new group now forming.

Faith Quest re-centers its participants on leading a faithful Christian life so that we may lead transformed and transforming lives in the world.

Faith Quest Bible study is divided into four parts:

  • A new way of thinking about Jesus Christ -- based on the Gospel of Luke.
  • A new way of thinking about the church -- explores the Book of Acts.
  • A new way of thinking about the world -- examines the Epistle to the Ephesians.
  • A new way of thinking about the Christian life -- examines the sermons and writings of John Wesley.
